I Took a 21-Day T-Break… Here's What Actually Happened
Description: After 21 days without THC, CBD, or any other medications, I learned something important... This wasn't a challenge to prove I could quit. It wasn't about declaring anything "good" or "bad." It was about self-awareness. Over the last three weeks, I paid close attention to my sleep, appetite, emotions, habits, mindset, physical health, and overall well-being. Some things improved. Some things didn't. But every lesson was valuable. Cannabis has helped me tremendously in life, and this journey didn't change that. What it did change was my understanding of how important it is to be intentional about wellness, healing, and the choices we make every day. Moving forward, I'll be exploring CBD, CBG, CBN, and other minor cannabinoids while continuing to document what works, what doesn't, and what can be improved. If you've ever taken a T-Break, changed a habit, or challenged yourself to grow, I'd love to hear what you learned from the experience. Thank you to everyone who followed along for the journey. This chapter may be ending, but the wellness journey continues. 👊💚

Day 14–16 Without Cannabis… The Changes I Didn’t Expect
Day 14–16 of my 21-Day T-Break and some of the biggest changes have honestly been the small ones. My appetite has become way more regulated. Before this journey, I’d usually only eat supper most days. Now I’m consistently eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner… while somehow still losing weight through the process. Sleep has stayed steady too at around 5–6 solid hours a night, which I’ll absolutely take as progress. This experience continues to teach me more about my body, routines, health, and the importance of intentional habits. Not every breakthrough is dramatic. Sometimes healing shows up quietly through consistency and self-awareness. 👊

Day 12–13 of My 21-Day Break… Real Healing Is Slower Than You Think
Day 12 & 13 of my 21-Day T-Break. These past couple days weren’t about big breakthroughs or dramatic changes… and that’s actually the point. I’ve been focusing on consistency cleaning up my diet, staying active, building better daily routines, and paying attention to how my body responds to stress, weather, recovery, and natural support like CBD topicals. What I’m learning is that real healing isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s quiet discipline, small choices repeated daily, and learning to understand yourself a little better each day. This journey isn’t about quitting anything — it’s about becoming more intentional with how I live, think, and take care of myself. Appreciate everyone following along. More updates coming soon. 👊

Day 11 Without Cannabis… The Biggest Lesson So Far
Day 11 of my 21-Day T-Break and one thing has become very clear… this journey was never about “quitting cannabis” or pretending cannabis hasn’t helped me tremendously in life. The Lord’s lettuce helped me through chronic pain, PTSD, anxiety, sleep issues, and helped pull me away from far more destructive paths. This break is simply about self-awareness, intentional living, and reevaluating my routines, habits, health, and healing with a clearer perspective. So far, I haven’t experienced major withdrawal symptoms or dramatic life changes. What I have gained is a deeper understanding of myself mentally, physically, and emotionally. Sometimes slowing down and honestly evaluating your life is one of the healthiest things you can do. 👊

Day 10 Without Cannabis… I Finally Reached Out for Help
Day 10 of my 21-Day T-Break and today had very little to do with cannabis… and everything to do with life. Some days the weight of life hits harder than others. Today I felt emotionally heavy in a way I couldn’t really explain or shake on my own. Instead of bottling it up or pretending I was fine, I did something I’m not always good at… I reached out for help. That experience reminded me that healing isn’t just physical. Mental and emotional health matter too, and none of us are meant to carry everything alone. There’s strength in asking for help, finding support, and being honest when life feels overwhelming. You never have to suffer in silence. 👊

Day 9 Without Cannabis… Healing vs Coping
Day 9 of my 21-Day T-Break. This journey isn’t about judging anyone’s relationship with cannabis or saying one way is right or wrong. Everybody’s healing process looks different. For me, cannabis has played a major role in helping me step away from pills and alcohol and manage things like anxiety, sleep, PTSD, and chronic pain. This break isn’t about rejecting that, it’s about understanding myself on a deeper level. The goal here is simple: move from just coping through life to intentionally healing in as many areas as possible. That takes self-awareness, honesty, and real work. I’m documenting the full process as it happens—no filters, no extremes, just real experience day by day. 👊

Day 8 Without the Lord's Lettuce… The Strongest Cravings Yet 😳
Day 8 of my 21-Day T-Break and today was the hardest craving I’ve experienced so far. While out at the river with my daughter, I smelled the Lord’s lettuce in the air and instantly felt that mental pull. But instead of giving into the craving, I grounded myself in nature, jumped into the cold river, and reset mentally. What’s interesting about this journey is that it’s teaching me so much more than just “taking a break.” It’s showing me how environment, habits, emotions, routines, and awareness all connect together. This is not an anti-cannabis journey. The Lord’s lettuce has helped me tremendously in life. This is simply about self-awareness, discipline, and making sure I stay intentional with my habits and choices. I’m documenting the entire process honestly — the good, the uncomfortable, the cravings, the clarity, and everything in between. 👊

Day 7 Without Cannabis… Public Anxiety Hit Me Today
Day 7 of my 21-Day Cannabis T-Break and today brought a completely different observation than the previous days. For the first time during this journey, I actually got really solid sleep and woke up feeling rested. No vivid dreams, no constant waking up, just real sleep. But once I got out into public with my kids at a local farmers market, I noticed something interesting… I felt extremely alert and hyper-aware of everyone around me. Almost like my nervous system was on full alert. It felt uncomfortable at times, but I worked through it and still had a great day with my family. I also noticed some mild cravings today, but nothing overwhelming. This process continues to show me how connected habits, mental clarity, emotions, environment, and self-awareness really are. I’m documenting the entire journey honestly — the good, the uncomfortable, and everything in between. 👊

Day 6 Without Cannabis… The Dreams Are Getting Neat
Day 6 of my 21-Day Cannabis T-Break and things keep getting more interesting mentally. Last night wasn’t rough because of cannabis withdrawal… life was just lifein'. Stress, lack of sleep, racing thoughts all of it hit at once. But instead of trying to escape it, I stayed grounded, focused on my breathing, and worked through it with a clear mind. Then after I finally fell asleep, I had an incredibly vivid dream that I broke my T-Break… and the disappointment I felt in that dream honestly surprised me. What’s wild is I’m almost a third of the way through this journey and still haven’t experienced major withdrawal symptoms. This process has become way bigger than just cannabis. It’s teaching me about discipline, habits, self-awareness, stress management, and how much the mind processes during change. I’m documenting this entire journey in real time — the good, the bad, the mental clarity, the sleep struggles, the cravings, and everything in between. No fake positivity. Just honesty. 👊

Day 5 Without Cannabis… Nature Reset My Mind
Day 5 of my 21-Day Cannabis T-Break, and today reminded me how powerful it can be to disconnect and reset mentally. Last night was rough. My tinnitus was flaring up, sleep was light, and I kept waking up throughout the night. By this morning, I felt drained and slow mentally. Instead of forcing myself through the day, I grabbed my kayak, took my dog out on the river, and spent time outside away from the noise and distractions. Honestly… it completely changed the direction of my day. I also noticed some mild cravings today, but nothing close to what I experienced when I quit cigarettes last year. This journey continues to teach me how connected mental health, sleep, environment, habits, and healing really are. I’m documenting this entire 21-Day T-Break in real time — the good, the bad, the mental clarity, the sleep struggles, the productivity, and everything in between. No fake positivity. Just honesty. Follow along for the rest of the journey. 👊

Day 4 of My 21-Day T-Break… Let’s Talk About Cannabis Stigma
Day 4 of my 21-Day Cannabis T-Break, and this conversation is getting deeper than I expected. I’m addressing a common misunderstanding I keep seeing: that if you use cannabis medically, you can’t or shouldn’t take a tolerance break. The truth is, cannabis use is not one-size-fits-all. People use it for pain, PTSD, anxiety, sleep, focus, recovery, and so much more. Every person’s body and relationship with cannabis is different. This journey is not about judgment, and it’s not about saying cannabis is bad. Cannabis has helped me tremendously in my own life. It’s about self-awareness, intentional use, and stepping back to honestly evaluate how I feel mentally and physically. No competition. No judgment. Just a real-time personal experience shared openly. Follow along for the full 21 days.

3 Days Without Cannabis… The Mental Changes Shocked Me
Day 3 of my 21-Day Cannabis T-Break and I’m starting to notice some major mental changes already. The biggest surprise so far? It honestly feels like some of the brain fog is lifting. I’m handling responsibilities and tasks I’ve been avoiding instead of pushing them off. The stress is still there… but now my brain feels more focused on solving problems instead of avoiding them. At the same time, sleep has definitely changed. It’s taking longer to fall asleep, my sleep feels lighter, and if I wake up during the night, getting back to sleep has been difficult. I’m documenting this entire journey in real time because I wanted to see what REALLY happens mentally, physically, and emotionally when a long-term daily cannabis user suddenly stops. This isn’t anti-cannabis at all. Cannabis has helped me through a lot in life. This is about self-awareness, clarity, discipline, and understanding myself better. Just raw honesty every single day for 21 days. If you’ve ever thought about taking a T-Break yourself, follow along because things are already getting interesting… and we’re only on Day 3. #420chief #tbreak #cannabiscommunity #mentalhealth #selfawareness #breakstigmas #end22aday #bettertogether #neveralone #SunnysideOfChief
